Re 1 damages, apology: Pilot's notice to Cong MLA

Sachin Pilot, through his counsel, serves a legal notice to Congress MLA Girraj Singh Malinga who alleged that Pilot offered him Rs 35 cr to cross vote in the Rajya Sabha polls. Notice demands a sum of Re 1 and a written apology before the press for issuing "false & frivolous allegation" within 7 days.

Malinga told reporters Monday that the talks were held at Pilot's residence and he (Malinga) alerted Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot about the conspiracy to topple the state government."I had a talk with Sachinji. He had offered money to join the BJP but I refused that I will not join the BJP," Malinga said.

Malinga is in the Gehlot camp and staying at a hotel on Delhi highway along with other MLAs.
