Congress leader Kapil Sibbal tweeted: "Worried for our party. Will we wake up only after the horses have bolted from our stables?"

His reaction came as Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot alleged that the BJP is attempting to topple his government by bribing Congress and Independent MLAs, triggering a fresh round of political uncertainty in the state.

On Saturday, Ashok Gehlot said BJP leaders have "gone beyond humanity" as they are tried to destabilise his government in the midst of the coronavirus crisis.

Meanwhile, the BJP has rubbished these charges and accused Ashok Gehlot of trying to deflect people's attention from the infightings within the Congress, and the failure of his government in responding promptly to the coronavirus pandemic.
