Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has alleged that the BJP is attempting to topple his government by bribing Congress and Independent MLAs, triggering a fresh round of political uncertainty in the state.

On Saturday, Ashok Gehlot said BJP leaders have "gone beyond humanity" as they are tried to destabilise his government in the midst of the coronavirus crisis.

Ashok Gehlot said the BJP also made such attempts in the run up to the recently held Rajya Sabha elections. Meanwhile, the BJP has rubbished these charges and accused Ashok Gehlot of trying to deflect people's attention from the infightings within the Congress, and the failure of his government in responding promptly to the coronavirus pandemic.

According to the sources, Sachin pilot has complained of Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot's sidelining attempts.

Meanwhile, both the leaders will likely be summoned to Delhi.
