In a major development in the Rajasthan political crisis, Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot has been told to return to Jaipur and work under the leadership of CM Ashok Gehlot, sources said.

The Congress High Command has reportedly asked Sachin Pilot to reach Jaipur tonight and meet the observers. Congress has appointed its Delhi leader Ajay Maken, Rajasthan Congress Pradesh Committee chief Avinash Pande and the party's senior spokesperson Randeep Singh Surjewala as observers.

The team comprising Ajay Maken, Avinash Pande and Randeep Singh Surjewala will board a chartered plane tonight. According to sources, they will reach just in time to attend a meeting called by CM Ashok Gehlot at 9 PM tonight.

Meanwhile, a legislature party meeting is slated to take place at the chief minister's residence on Monday at 10:30 am. Pilot is likely to attend the meeting.

Sachin Pilot is reportedly unhappy with the probe ordered by the state police into "poaching" of MLAs and the notice sent to him by the Rajasthan Police's Special Operations Group (SOG) over the same.

Pilot feels that a notice under provision for sedition is an "attempt to humiliate," sources said.
