India reports over 20k cases for 6th day in a row

India reports a spike of 22,752 new COVID19 cases and 482 deaths in the last 24 hours.

This is the sixth consecutive day that COVID-19 cases have increased by more than 20,000.

The number of recoveries stands at 4,56,831, while there are 2,64,944 active cases of coronavirus infection presently in the country.

The country's death toll due to the the pandemic has reached at 20,642.
