NIA files chargesheet against former J-K DSP

Just in: The National Investigation Agency has filed a chargesheet against six persons and former DSP of J&K Police, Davinder Singh, in a terror case.

Suspended Jammu and Kashmir Deputy superintendent of police Davinder Singh, arrested while ferrying two Hizb-ul-Mujahideen terrorists in a vehicle on the Srinagar-Jammu Highway earlier this year, was granted bail last month by a court in another terror case filed by Delhi Police after it failed to file a chargesheet within the prescribed time period.
