Nitish sacks Prashant Kishor, Pavan Varma

Bihar CM Nitish Kumar expelled election strategist Prashant Kishor and leader Pavan Varma from the party. The expulsion of both the leaders comes along expected lines as both the leaders had expressed their displeasure over the JD-U's support for the Citizenship Amendment Act.

In fact, Kishor has even been told by the Bihar chief minister to leave the Janata Dal (U) and go wherever he wants. Kishor was also not included in the new working committee of the party, which is likely to be constituted before the next assembly elections in Bihar.
