Rafael Nadal, ranked number 1, has ousted his nemesis Nick Kyrgios in four sets -- 6-3, 3-6, 7-6, 7-6. Nadal and Kyrgios share a tenuous past and last met at Wimbledon where Nadal had ousted Kyrgios in four sets. Nadal will now face Austria's Dominic Thiem in the quarter finals.
