Chinese PM arrives in Coronavirus-hit Wuhan city

Chinese Premier Li Keqiang arrives in coronavirus hit Wuhan city, the first such visit by a top leader. President Xi Jinping on Saturday said that China is facing a 'grave situation', but exuded confidence that the country will 'win the battle' against the coronavirus epidemic that has claimed 80 lives and infected nearly 2744 people so far.

Meanwhile in India, the Superintendent of the Patna Medical College and Hospital said that a girl from Chapra, who recently returned from China, was admitted to ICU at a hospital after she showed symptoms similar to that of Coronavirus. "She is on the way to Patna, she'll be admitted at PMCH."


The Airport Health Organisation GOI said there is no passengers to Bengaluru having history of visit to Wuhan, China, in the last 14 days who reported positive with Coronavirus. A total 392 passengers underwent thermal scanner screening from yesterday till 8 am today at Bengaluru International airport.
