Indian mission releases names of 8 tourists who died in Nepal

The Indian high commission in Nepal has issued the following statement about 8 tourists from Kerala found dead in a resort in Nepal.   

'This mission received information today morning regarding 8 Indian national tourists from Kerala being found unconscious in their hotel room in Daman, Makwanpur district, Nepal.  

'The mission immediately contacted other members of the group in Daman and family/friends in India. All 8 were airlifted and brought to hospital in Kathmandu. A doctor from this mission was also immediately sent to the concerned hospital to check on welfare of patients and to coordinate/provide necessary assistance.   

'However, we have now been informed that all 8 patients did not survive. Our doctor, along with a member of the group, is in the hospital. Other group members and family from India/Dubai are on their way to Kathmandu. The contact details of mission officials have been shared with family/friends.   

'Following are details of the 8 deceased:

5. Abhinav Saranya Nair
6. Ranjith Kumar Adatholath Punathil
