Peter Mukerjea gets bail in Sheena Bora case

Peter Mukerjea, accused number 4 in the Sheena Bora murder case, has been granted bail by the Bombay High Court. The judge observed that prima facie there was no evidence against him. Mukerjea in jail since 2015, was married to Indrani Mukerjea, the prime accused in the case. However, the prosecution has been given six weeks time to approach the Supreme court, which means despite the bail, Mukerjea cannot walk out of jail.

Mukerjea has been given bail on a surety of Rs 2 lakh. He cannot travel abroad.
