Unlock 4.0: Maharashtra eases curbs on hotels, travel, govt office attendance

The government of Maharashtra on Monday issued new guidelines for easing the flow of activities in the state as part of Mission Begin Again. 

The new rules will come into effect from September 2 in areas utside containment zones.

Even as the central government has allowed the operation of the Metro rail from September 7, the state government in its fresh guidelines mentioned that the Metro will remain prohibited across the state. 

On the other hand, private offices will be allowed to operate with 30 per cent strength. 

Hotels and lodges will be allowed to operate at 100 per cent capacity. Separate SOP will be issued. 

However, schools, colleges, educational and coaching institutes will remain closed till September 30.
