Singer Balasubrahmanyam stable on life support

Legendary singer SP Balasubrahmanyam continues to be on life support, read MGM Healthcare Hospital's latest bulletin. 

On August 15, the doctors from the hospital confirmed that he is in a stable condition. His parameters are being closely monitored by the doctors. SP Balasubrahmanyam is currently in the Intensive Care Unit after his condition worsened on August 13 night.

The press statement reads, "Thiru SP Balasubrahmanyam who is admitted at MGM Healthcare due to Covid 19 continues to be on life support in Intensive Care Unit. He remains stable and the doctors are closely monitoring his clinical parameters."

On August 5, SP Balasubrahmanyam got admitted to the hospital by choice after he tested positive for the novel coronavirus. In the video, he said that he has a mild case of Covid-19 and that his fever has subsided. He further added that he has cold and is confident of recovering soon.

However, his condition deteriorated on August 13 after which he was put on a ventillator. Yesterday, the hospital released a statement saying that SP Balasurahmanyam is critical. Soon, celebrities and his fans took to social media to pray for his speedy recovery.

Yesterday, his son SP Charan released a statement and squashed the rumours about his ill health."Thanks a lot for all your concern and enquiries about my father's health. He is in ICU under ventilation. His condition is stable. Don't believe rumours. We will keep you updated about his progress regularly. Thanks again, his statement read.
