Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot in Jaisalmer: "The fight is to save democracy and it will continue. All our MLAs stayed together for such a long time. This is a victory of the people of Rajasthan. It is our duty to serve the people of the state. It's natural for MLAs to be upset. The manner in which this episode occurred and the way in which they stayed for a month, it was natural. I've explained to them that sometimes we need to be tolerant if we have to serve the nation, state, people and save democracy."

Former Rajasthan Deputy CM Sachin Pilot, whose rebellion against the Congress party plunged the Ashok Gehlot government in a month-long crisis, has returned to the party fold.

After meeting Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi and on being assured by the party that the issues raised by him and his camp of MLAs will be resolved, Sachin Pilot returned to Congress and said he had never hankered for any post and was only raising ideological issues.

CM Ashok Gehlot reacting to Sachin Pilot's truce with the Congress said that it is his duty as the chief minister to address the grievances of his MLAs and party members and will listen to the problems raised by those who are miffed with him.
