Mumbai rains: Landslide on WEH, traffic affected

The traffic on the Western Express Highway near Kandivali in Mumbai has been severely affected due to a landslide amid heavy overnight rains.

The landslide has slowed down vehicular movement on one side of the highway, therefore, traffic is moving slowly on the northbound side.

Officials and police personnel are at the spot and efforts are on to remove the debris.

Mumbai has been witnessing heavy showers for the last 12 hours with extremely heavy rainfall expected for the next two days.
