Amish Tripathi to head Nehru Centre, London

Writer Amish Tripathi has been appointed the Director of the Nehru Centre, London. The Nehru Centre promotes cultural exchanges between UK and India. Tripathi, a graduate from IIM Kolkata, is the author of the popular mythology books, the Shiva trilogies and the Ram Chandra series. Gopalkrishna Gandhi was the Nehru Centre's first director, which has also had playwright Girish Karnad and writer-diplomat Pavan Varma as its chiefs.
