Telangana guv's father is Cong candidate for TN polls

Kumari Ananthan (86), the father of Telangana governor Tamilsai Soundararajan is the Congress candidate for the Nanguneri assembly constituency in Tamil Nadu. Ananthan paid his nomination fees of Rs 10,000 at the TNCC office in Chennai today. The central leadership of the Congress in Delhi has communicated its approval to the Tamil Nadu Congress committee and it is for MK Alagiri, the TNCC chief to announce it tomorrow.
