EC Ashok Lavasa's wife gets slapped with tax notice

Income Tax department has issued a notice to Election Commissioner Ashok Lavasa's wife for alleged irregularities in her IT returns. Mrs Lavasa is a banker by profession. Lavasa claims the IT notice is a routine matter and that his wife will reply to the notice. The tax department says there are questions that need to be answered. Wait and watch.
