Sensex snaps 6-day losing streak, jumps 646 pts

Indian markets traded in the green on Wednesday.

Sensex reclaimed the crucial 38,000 levels after six days of lows.

The Sensex ended 645.97 points -- or 1.72 per cent up -- at 38,177.95 and the broader NSE Nifty index settled at 11,313.30, up 186.90 points - or 1.68 per cent - from its previous close

Top gainers of the day were IndusInd Bank, Bharti Infratel, Bharti Airtel and SBI

On the NSE, the Nifty50 was trading over 11,250 levels.
