Pragya apologises for 2nd time over Godse remarks

BJP MP Pragya Thakur apologises again in Lok Sabha today. She said, "On 27 Nov, during discussion on Special Protection Group (Amendment) Bill, 2019, I did not call Nathuram Godse a 'deshbhakt'. I did not even mention his name. I apologise again if I have hurt any sentiments."

Her fresh statement came after Speaker Om Birla convened a meeting of party leaders to end the impasse in the House. -- PTI
