Missing you, Ma Saheb, Bala Saheb: Supriya Sule

Nationalist Congress Party MP Supriya Sule-Pawar on Thursday said she was "missing so much" the Shiv Sena founder the late Bal Thackeray and Meenatai Thackeray.

Supriya Sule tweets: "Maa Saheb and Bala Saheb - missing you so much today. Both of you should have been here today. They treated me with so much love and affection more than a daughter! Their role in my life will always be special and memorable!"

The daughter of NCP President Sharad Pawar, Sule was in the limelight yesterday when she welcomed all the newly-elected legislators across the three Aghadi parties, as they arrived at the Vidhan Bhavan for their swearing-in ceremony.

Her image with Aditya Thackeray and her cousin Ajit Pawar went viral as she greeted them both with warm hugs.

Even though Sharad Pawar and Bal Thackeray were political adversaries, they shared a warm personal relationship and when Supriya Sule was nominated to the Rajya Sabha, Thackeray had sent his blessings.
