Additional Rs 20 cr for Shivaji capital: Uddhav

The newly elected Maharashtra Chief Minister, Uddhav Thackeray addressed the media for the first time after holding his first cabinet meet. 

I want to greet people of Maharashtra and want to tell that this government will be of the common citizen's. There won't be a climate of fear. The first Cabinet meeting happened. I was happy that the first proposal came to me was impressive. This cabinet has approved an additional Rs 20 crore for Shivaji capital," Uddhav Thackeray said after holding his first cabinet meeting after taking oath as Maharashtra CM.

He also said that he wants to help the farmers in a manner which will make them happy.

Maharashtra chief minister Uddhav Thackeray says his govt will announce big decision to give relief to Maharashtra farmers in two days.

Reacting to Devendra Fadnavis's remark that the CMP of the alliance government does not mention Marathwada or North Maharashtra, Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray said: "Do not single out particular regions. We want to help the whole of Maharashtra."
