As all 288 MLAs take the oath at the Maharashtra assembly, Shiv Sena leader Neelam Gorhe was all smiles.

Speaking to the media at the assembly, she said, "We are happy that finally the dream of Balasaheb ji Thackeray is being fulfilled. 'Maha Vikas Aghadi' will be led by Uddhav Thackeray, guided by Sharad Pawar and Sonia ji madam has made immense contribution to it, so we will do great work for Maharashtra."

The Shiv Sena-Nationalist Congress Party-Congress alliance on Tuesday evening announced Shiv Sena president Uddhav Thackeray as their nominee for the Maharashtra chief minister's post.

Thackeray will take oath as the chief minister at 6.40 pm on November 28 at the Shivaji Park in Dadar.
