Hours after the BJP's Devendra Fadnavis took oath as chief minister of Maharashtra with the Nationalist Congress Party's Ajit Pawar, the NCP was counting who in its ranks had broken away with go with the BJP.

Dhananjay Munde, a senior NCP leader who was believed to be with Ajit Pawar, made a dramatic entry into the NCP headquarters, where party chief Sharad Pawar had called his flock.

Ajit Pawar, Dhananjay Munde and five other NCP MLAs were said to be with the BJP.

But as the five MLAs were flown to Delhi, Dhananjay Munde was seen returning to Sharad Pawar's faction.
