A 2014 tweet by Devendra Fadnavis in September 2014, almost a month before Maharashtra went to the polls, says the BJP will never ally with the NCP since their corruption was proved in the Assembly.

Five years on, as the ED is set to probe Ajit Pawar on corruption charges, a new friend and a new ally for the BJP.

No permanent friends, neither enemies.
