Sharad Pawar's meeting with Sonia Gandhi ends

Amid talks of government formation in Maharashtra, NCP chief Sharad Pawar met Congress supremo Sonia Gandhi at her residence in New Delhi.

The two leaders will take a final call on joining hands with the Shiv Sena. The state is under Presidents rule since the falling out of a pre-poll alliance between Sena and the BJP.

Sources said that Ajit Pawar, Jayant Patil and Chhagan Bhujbal have been asked to reach Delhi on Tuesday, while Nawab Malik will arrive in the national capital late on Monday.
