President accepts resignation of A G Sawant

President Ram Nath Kovind has accepted the resignation of A G Sawant, the Rashtrapati Bhavan tweeted.

It added that the ministry of heavy industries and public enterprises will be handed over to Prakash Javadekar for the time being.
