After meeting with Nationalist Congress Party chief Sharad Pawar, Congress leader Ahmed Patel said that the final decision on government formation in Maharashtra will be taken after formulation of common minimum program between the Congress, the NCP and the Shiv Sena.

"No final decision can be taken without formulation of common minimum program between the Congress, the NCP and the Shiv Sena," Congress told reporters.

"The Shiv Sena contacted us first time for support yesterday. We will hold discussions with the Shiv Sena after we hold discussions with our ally," Patel said.

Addressing a joint press conference, Pawar said, "We are in no hurry. We will hold discussions with the Congress and then take a decision."

Asked about delay in government formation Pawar said, "A meeting was held between senior leaders of NCP and Congress today. On November 11, the Shiv Sena first contacted us formally. We will discuss on all the issues and then take a decision."
