Kamal Haasan invited for Modi's swearing-in

Makkal Needhi Maiam president and veteran actor Kamal Haasan has been invited for the swearing in ceremony of PM Narendra Modi on May 30.

Interestingly, superstar Rajinikanth has also been invited for the event.

In the past, Haasan has been critical of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP.

He has also been booked for terming Mahatma Gandhis assassin independent Indias first terrorist and pointing out that he was a Hindu. Haasan was booked for outraging religious feelings. The complaint was filed by Hindu Munnani District Secretary KV Ramakrishnan.
