BIMSTEC leaders to attend Modi's swearing in

JUST IN: Leaders of the BIMSTEC nations will attend swearing in ceremony of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on May 30.

BIMSTEC, or Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation, is a group of seven nations including India.

Other members are Bangladesh, Bhutan. Myanmar, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Thailand.

In 2014, Modi had invited leaders of SAARC (South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation) nations to his oath taking ceremony. -- ANI
