Terrorist killed in encounter in J-K's Pulwama

A terrorist was shot dead in an encounter with security forces in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama early this morning.

Acting on specific information about the presence of terrorists in Panzgam area of Awantipora in south Kashmir's Pulwama district, security forces launched a cordon and search operation there, a police official said.

The body of the terrorist was found during a post-encounter search.
