PM Modi offers prayers at Kedarnath

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday offered prayers at the Kedarnath shrine in Uttarakhand.

Modi will also go to the Badrinath shrine during his two-day visit of the state.

Early in the day, PM Modi arrived at the Jollygrant airport after he finished his whirlwind election campaigning on Friday ahead of Sundays final phase of the seven-phased Lok Sabha polls.

The portals of the both the shrines were reopened for devotees after winter break early this month.
