Prez accepts resignation of Mizoram governor

The President has accepted the resignation of Kummanam Rajasekharan as Governor of Mizoram. Prof. Jagdish Mukhi, Governor of Assam will now be discharging the functions of the Governor of Mizoram, in addition to his own duties, until regular arrangements for the office of the Governor of Mizoram is made, Rashtrapati Bhavan said in a communique.
