It's a victory of democracy, says Yeddyurappa

Bharatiya Janata Party's Karnataka chief BS Yeddyurappa said that collapse of the Kumaraswamy government is the victory of democracy.

"It is victory of democracy. People were fed up with Kumaraswamy government. I want to assure people of Karnataka that a new era of development will start now," Yeddyurappa said after the Kumaraswamy government failed the floor test in the Karnatka assembly.

"We assure the farmers that we will give more importance to them in the coming days. We will take an appropriate decision at the soonest," he added.
