Wish to end this today: Karnataka Speaker

With no sign of trust vote in sight, high drama plagued the Karnataka Assembly on Friday -- the day of floor test.

Even as Kumaraswamy ignored the Governor's request to finish the trust vote today, Speaker KR Ramesh said that he would wish to finish the issue today.

Talking in the assembly, Speaker Ramesh said, "Dont embarrass me. Please let me know how many people will speak and how long it will take."

When Kumaraswamy said that he wished to push the trust vote till Monday, the Speaker responded, "No, I have to face the world too."

He's also set a deadline for the lawmakers. "Come to a consensus within 7:30," said the Speaker.
