The Karnataka assembly session has been adjourned to 11 am on Monday, triggering protests from BJP MLAs.

Speaker says it is not possible for him to sit any longer.

Earlier trying to find a solution to the problem, the Speaker told the MLAs that he didn't want the trust vote to be conducted in a hurry, but did not want to stretch proceedings either.

"So I am in a dilemma, please help me," said the Speaker.

Non Bengaluru MLAs from the coalition are saying they need to go back to their constituencies, and demanded the Deputy Speaker that they be allowed to leave.
