Truth is my defence: Priya Ramani on Akbar's defamation suit

First reactions: Journalist Priya Ramani after being granted bail by Patiala House Court in connection with criminal defamation complaint by MJ Akbar said, "The next date when they will frame the charges against me is April 10. After that it will be my turn to tell my story. The truth is my defence."

Ramani appeared before Delhi's Patiala House Court this morning. The court had summoned her as an accused in connection with MJ Akbar's criminal defamation complaint. Senior Advocate Rebecca John appeared for her. The court granted her bail on a personal bail bond of Rs 10,000 with the next hearing on March 8.
