All-party meeting to discuss Pulwama attack underway

An all-party meeting to discuss India's plan of action on the terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir has begun at the Parliament.

The meeting, chaired by Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh saw the attendance of Congress leaders Ghulam Nabi Azad and Anand Sharma, Nationalist Congress Party chief Sharad Pawar, National Conference chief Farooq Abdullah Communist Party of India leader D Raja and other party leaders.

The decision to convene the all-party meeting was taken at a meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Security, chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday.

Forty CRPF personnel were killed and five injured on Thursday in one of the deadliest terror attacks in Jammu and Kashmir when a Jaish-e-Mohammad suicide bomber rammed a vehicle carrying over 100 kg of explosives into their bus in Pulwama.
