President Trump just announced he will declare a national emergency in order to secure funding to build a wall at the southern border, reports CNN.
He argued that his actions are consistent with those of his predecessors.
"I'm going to be signing a national emergency, and it's been signed many times before. It's been signed by other presidents from 1977 or so it gave the presidents the power," Trump said.
