Kerala CM moves resolution for CAA withdrawal

Chief Minister of Kerala Pinarayi Vijayan moves a resolution against the Citizenship Amendment Act in the state assembly, demanding withdrawal of CAA. "I want to make it clear that no detention centers will come up in Kerala. Kerala has a long history of secularism, Greeks, Romans, Arabs, everyone reached our land. Christians and Muslims reached Kerala in the very beginning. Our tradition is of inclusiveness. Our assembly needs to keep the tradition alive," he said.  


CPI(M) MLA James Mathew supports the resolution moved by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan against Citizenship Amendment Act in state Assembly.


Kerala is among nine states that have said they will not implement CAA,
