Finance minister to hold presser at 3 pm

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will hold a press conference at 3 pm today at the National Media Centre, New Delhi. While it is still unclear what the finance minister is going to talk about, measures related to the economic revival of the country could be on the cards, which is in fact what the rest of her pressers have been about.

Reports suggest that the FM is expected to announce measures relating to the Rs 100 lakh crore national infra pipeline, in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of the $5-trillion economy by 2024. The FM is said to have set up a task force to draw up the infra pipeline.
