CAA has nothing to do with any Indian: Modi

"Lie is being spread that I brought law to snatch people's rights, it will not stand," Modi said at Ramlila Maidan.

"Muslims being misled, I have always ensured that documents will never come in way of development schemes and their beneficiaries," he said.

"I dare rivals to find anything discriminatory in my work, said Modi, citing his government's various development programmes.

The Citizenship Amendment Act is not for any citizen of India, be it HIndu or Muslim. This law doesn't apply to any of 130 crore Indians, the PM said.

"We did not bring NRC. The Congress did. The NRC is not yet debated in Parliament or the Cabinet. No guidelines have been formed so far," Modi said at the rally. -- PTI/ANI
