CAB will be written in golden letters: PM Modi

Ahead of the Rajya Sabha session where the Citizenship Amendment Bill will be introduced, the BJP held its parliamentary meet.

Speaking at the meeting, PM Narendra Modi said, "Citizenship Bill will be written in golden letters, it will give permanent relief to people who fled religious persecution."

After the BJP parliamentary meeting, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Prahlad Joshi said that the Citizenship Amendment Bill will be tabled in Rajya Sabha at 12 pm today. He also hoped that the bill will be passed in the house with a comfortable majority.
