Amit Shah pays respects to Jaitley at BJP HQ

Former finance minister Arun Jaitley, a key strategist and chief troubleshooter of the BJP and the Narendra Modi government during its first term, died on Saturday at the AIIMS after battling multiple health issues for the last several months. He will be cremated with full state honours at the Nigambodh Ghat today. Jaitley, 66, breathed his last at 12.07pm on Saturday. He was admitted to the hospital on August 9.

Mortal remains of Arun Jaitley have been kept at the Press Conference Room at the ground floor of BJP headquarters where party president Amit Shah paid his respects. 

Arun Jaitley's son, wife and relatives are present in the party headquarters.
