Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is scheduled to visit the United States of America next month to address the United Nations General Assembly, is likely to face protests organised by Pakistan over the decision to scrap Article 370.

Dawn.com reports that Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan 'has issued directives' to his party Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf's foreign chapters 'to prepare to stage a protest in New York during Mr Modi's arrival'.

'The instructions were given during a meeting of PTI Office of International Chapter's secretary Dr Abdullah Riar with Mr Khan,' reports Dawn.com.

Khan has also 'directed Mr Riar to mobilise Pakistani community in the US and human rights organisations' against India during Modi's visit to New York City, the website reports.
