Uddhav, Nitish to accompany PM for nomination

Shiv Sena Chief Uddhav Thackeray offers prayers at Kaal Bhairav temple in Varanasi. Apart from Thackeray, BJP allies like JD(U) president Nitish Kumar will accompany PM Narendra Modi as he files his nomination around 11.30 am today.

Shiromani Akali Dal's Parkash Singh Badal and Lok Janshakti Party chief Ram Vilas Paswan will also be in attendance, the BJP said.

Yesterday, Modi held a mega roadshow in Varanasi, drawing massive crowds, before the show of strength culminated with the Ganga Aarti at the Dashashwamedh Ghat.

Modi was joined by Bharatiya Janata Party president Amit Shah, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and other senior BJP leaders in the temple town.
