Priyanka meets with Pulwama martyr's family

Congress member and sister of the party chief Priyanka Gandhi-Vadra met with the family of V V Vasantha Kumar's family in Makkamkunnu in Wayanad.

Kumar had lost his life in Pulwama terror attack on February 14.

On February 4 2019, a convoy of vehicles carrying security personnel on the Jammu Srinagar National Highway was attacked by a vehicle-borne suicide bomber at Lethpora (near Awantipora) in the Pulwama district, Jammu and Kashmir.

The attack resulted in the deaths of 40 Central Reserve Police Force personnel and the attacker.

The responsibility for the attack was claimed by the Pakistan-based terror group Jaish-e-Mohammed.
