Smriti in Wayanad on Saturday

Central Textiles Minister Smriti Irani will be in Wayanad for a roadshow April 20.

Irani, who is squaring off against Congress president Rahul Gandhi from Amethi, will be campaigning for the NDA candidate Thushar Velapally.

Rahul has decided to contest elections from Wayanad along with his family bastion of Amethi, a decision that the BJP has mocked, saying the Congress chief is scared of his chances of winning from Amethi.
