#MeToo: Video of Tamil Nadu minister goes viral

A new controversy is brewing for Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi Palaniswami and it isn't looking good. An audio tape in Tamil has gone viral on social media, alleging the involvement of a Tamil Nadu minister in a #MeToo incident.

If the tape is indeed genuine, speculation is rife whether the minister will have to quit like Union Minsiter MJ Akbar, who had to step down after several women journalists accused him of sexual harrasment and molestation during the time he was a journalist. Opposition DMK is seeking the resignation of the state minister.
