Major cabinet rejig: Goyal gets finance, Irani shunted out of I&B

JUST IN: In a major cabinet rejig Union minister Piyush Goyal has been given charge of the finance ministry till Arun Jaitley recovers, say media reports.

Jaitley has undergone a successful kidney transplant today.

Moreover, Union minister Smriti Irani has been shunted out of information and broadcasting ministry and junior I&B minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore has been given charge of the ministry.

Irani will look after textile ministry, say media reports.
